A lot of people, they don't get why I skate. I am not very good at skateboarding, so I think I'll have to cross "professional skateboarder" off my possible jobs list. I won't be suprised, though, when I find it's not on the list. When I first picked up a skateboard, it was because my feet, my legs, my whole body itched to try, not because becoming a professional skateboarder meant a secure financial future. I continued skateboarding
because even after countless bruises, scrapes, and pints of blood lost, I still had that itch in my feet, legs, in my whole body to skate.

I'm sorry for you because I'm different. Rolling down the street on my plank of wood you call me a fool, but I'm no longer tied to your small world. I'm following my dreams where ever they take me.
