9.2.99 Meet me then judge me- Skateboarding- some say it is a primitive sport of nothing but a stick on wheels, others say it is an art that nothing can surpase. But really, how could those who criticize skateboarding really know what it is like if they have never tried it, and in some cases never seen it? They say that the skateboarding community is nothing but a foul mouthed bunch of slackers that have no future. But the question that comes to my mind is, have they even met any of them? Whenever they see the skate t-shirts, the shoes, the board, they are put into a set opinion that it is something wrong and vile. Even if what I'm saying is a bunch of cliches and rambling, it's what this 13 year old kid believes in, and will go on believing in. So you can do or say whatever you want about me, but all I have to say to you is, get to know me first, then criticize me. |
