The Skateboard Hangar

Whenever I see a skateboard-related product that isn't coming from a known company that supports skateboarding, my warning flag goes up. There are so many companies out there making money off of skateboarding who are more than happy to abandon their support the minute they stop making money, and there's no reason they should ever be supported. This product is of these origins, and while, it is a nice, simple idea, I'm still wary. The packaging makes it look like it could belong in a toy store, and the fluourescent yellow rubber grips don't help one bit. I'm still not sure if they just spelled hanger wrong, or are making a rather vague pun. This was certainly a product invented by a skateboarder's dad, not a skateboarder herself. With that said, it is a reasonably good idea for keeping your board out of the way, cheap ($5.95) and I think it will do a good job of saving space in my one room apartment next year (minus the rubber grips).
