Littleman Shockpads

Risers/shockpads seem to be a good idea. They prevent wheel bite, keep your screws tight, dampen the bumps when you ride, and most importantly, aborb shock when trying big tricks, or when you're a big rider. Littleman's work well, when you put them on, your board doesn't feel soft when you ollie (my usual complaint with shockpads).

Anyways, Littleman is a rad company, also based out of Oregon, who specialize in shockpads. They make them out of rubber, in two thicknesses, and, while it's hard to get tremendously excited about this kind of product, they do seem to do the trick. I've had some contact with Dave, the guy who runs things, and he's the kind of guy you feel comfortable about supporting. They can be reached at skate@shockpad.com, or written to at Littleman Riser Company, PO Box 50605, Eugene, OR 97405.
